Medicine Stick is insane. Base power of 100 boosted by cowboy, and hand loaded puts it with much more damage than the Anti-Materiel Rifle with three times the attack speed and twice the ammo. People who claim the Anti-Materiel Rifle is the best sniper have a surface level understanding of the game and are unaware of the power of other weapons such as the Medicine Stick. It takes a wile to reload as each bullet has to be put in manually (4 seconds). Download game ppsspp toy story. It can be reduced by 82% with 10 agility and rapid reload. Of course, if you have only 2 types of ammo and use the hot key to switch away and back your gun will be fully reloaded. This also works on shotguns. Using this game mechanic reloading the Medicine Stick can take as low as.2 of a second. The Bozar in the originally games was a powerful sniper that was bugged to be fully automatic and was the best weapon in the game. In New Vegas the Bozar is a piece of crap with zero mechanical reason to use. It does not get the Grunt buff so it's hard to boost it's damage higher than 25. Stuff like the 12mm machine gun shoots almost as fast with twice the damage. Stuff like the Medicine stick are better snipers. If you want an amazing gun with huge attack speed and 0 spread check out the All American. The All American is better in every way. Hell, the base gun of the Bozar (Light machine gun) is better for sniping as it's higher base damage punches through DT much better and it's not like the Bozar has adequate spread for sniping. Like, if given the choice between the 9mm submachine gun and the Bozar I would take the 9mm submachine gun as it is better in vats. I was running math and it seems I was wrong when calculating the damage. I was under the impression that explosive rounds added 50 damage but it seems they add 80. So Without psycho the stick does 163 non crit damage and the Rifle does 185. With psycho it becomes 202 for the stick and 211 for the Rifle. Therefor, you can find a situation in witch the Rifle deals more damage.Of course, the medicine stick has more crit damage after modifiers, three times the attack speed, a tenth of the reload speed. Sure you can mod your game to make it better, just like I could mob my game to give the Stick infinite damage. If you are looking for long ranged splash damage Mercy does that perfectly for way better damage and accuracy. Paciencia is designed for annihilating sneak attack criticals. You could argue this is also kind of weak (very specific usage, overpriced.) At least there's a unique playstyle associated with it, though. Maybe you pay for the unique gameplay style. The problem is that the Bozar has a super-high GRA price, but isn't really best at anything. All-American/Marksman Carbine is better at putting 20 rounds down at a long-range target. Close-mid range there are numerous better automatic options (and in comparison, something like Medicine Stick doesn't get crappier, close-range. Your crazy-high damage shots are just going up in VATS.). That's an interesting question. Paciencia has a some bad things holding it back. Low non crit damage, smallest clip in the game. Even with a crit from handloaded ammo Medicine Stick does more.Well. Lets look at the positives of Paciencia. Lowest base spread in the game (Hand Loaded Anti-Materiel Rifle gets lower). It also has the highest Zoom out of any scope. It's clear form it's design is was intended to only be used for long range sniping, so the Medicine Stick is better for all around use as you can run and gun, snipe or melee the cazador in your face. It's not all doom and gloom for Paciencia though. It has one niece it it crushes all other guns at. Long ranged sneak crits. It has to do with the math involving Hollow Point rounds. If something has 15 DT. Hollow Points will reduce your damage by 30. If you are doing 115x2+68x1.7 or 298 x1.7= 506. You are gaining 208 damage from using hollow points, that 30 less damage you get from increased dt still puts you out at 170 extra damage from ammo.Yeah, Medicine Stick is better in everything except sneak crits so if you have the urge to one shot Lanius on the hardest difficulty Medicine Stick would require two shots and nobody's got time for that. Just load in hollow points into your Paciencia, aim for the head and watch the credits play. .WARNING HEAVY SPOILERS.I created this thread to see what decisions you made in Fallout New Vegas and to see your opinions on any of the factions.Ceasers Legion- When I first encountered Caesars Legion I saw them as the avarage evil enemy but I took the time to go to Caesars camp and saw that he wants a empire, free of corruption and greed and one that will survive and ensure mankinds survival.I could almost sympathise with him but came to the conclusion he was going about it the wrong way. He also mentioned that he will absorb there enemys culture into their own which made me wonder if they would always give such heavy punishments and keep slaves.NCR- At first I saw them in the game as the good guys but the further in the game I got I saw them more as a power mongering Nation that is to greedy and tries to capture everything it sets eyes on consequently not protecting there own people. They also try to get you to destroy the brotherhood of steel seeing them as a potential threat and asking you to wipe out there base.Mr House- I saw him as the all powerfull dictator at first but when I delved deeper I couldn't figure out whether he was doing things for his own incentives or for the good of mankind. He mentions his goals are to carry on scientific research but I was wondering whether this was because he was afraid of dying. Also if you take the route of killing him he will mention that you have just undone some much good that could happen.Boomers- I found myself helping the boomers and recovering the bomber airplane hoping I would change there mind about the outside world. Ceasers Legion- It's so wrong, I just went to their camp and killed all as soon as I could.NCR- That's the human spirit. Always helped them (saved president too). Made them go away after the dam fight, though. Had a laugh at how that colonel lady always treated me as her soldier.Mr House- I went down to see, if he's a human. Turns out, he is. And the fact he's so ever-lasting and with a clear vision and plan makes him the perfect leader.Boomers- Helped them. These guns will come in handy big time.Brotherhood of Steel- I got accepted by them, but then I was never fond of them as they're pretty stagnant, when it comes to actually getting the world in order. So I killed them. (Took some rifles, though)Religious ghouls- Sent them to their maker (to space).Khans- Killed 'em.My decision in the end was that Legion is an abomination of slavery and a repetition of learned mistakes 2000 years ago. The NCR should live, as it's big and is quite close to what governments have been previously.I left Mr House do the work, as he'd live a lot longer than myself and he has too much experience in all this mess and hi-tech to let it go to waste. Also, he's a good thorn in NCRs ass to prevent any more pre-war irrationality. Also helped the Nightkin.Didn't care about Kings, House killed 'em, but, anyway.Raiders. House killed 'em too. I took the strip for myself convinced lanius to meet me on the field of battle at a future having some of the most epic dialouge ever then with the help of the secruitron mk 2 army 'convinced' the NCR to go home and created a strong independent vegas sure there was some suffering for the people but there pain was the skeleton of their children living in a better MojaveThis is what ended up happening in mine. By total accident.I was trying to aid the NCR, while making sure I had a army of robots to. Aid the NCR, but aparntly thats not possible or if it is I'm too dumb to find the way, so I ended up doing one too many Yes Man quests and ended up getting everyone's panties in a twist. So in the end I managed to kill all the roving gangs, help all the innocent towns people and drive the NCR and Legion from the Mojave. By total accident, first play throughs are always the worst for me DX.edit to redem my sorry ass.So bassicly the phrase of my play through was,Line em all up, Shoot em all down, and let GOD sort em out!! Bozar Fallout New Vegas HotelCaesar's LegionMass, indiscriminate slaughter, killed every last one of them, teabagged Caesar's dismembered head and drank a Whiskey on his throne.NCRTook thier side. Saved president and Dam. I'm thier big hero. But I don't get to enjoy it as I can't keep playing :(Mr HouseFried him.Yes ManWill do his ending next playthroughMade peace between NCR and every faction except the Great Khans, because the stupid quest was bugged and broke on me.Almost the same. I had the Khan bug too. I tracked down every family member and thought I had convinced them to not fight for the Legion, but apparently not. Had to kill them all. I didn't like having to do that.I was working for Mr House for a while, all the while keeping good relations with the NCR. House was hard to figure out, as he's an arrogant prick but did pretty much single-handedly defend Vegas. But when he asked me to wipe out the Brotherhood (whom I had joined), I turned against him and took away his control. I left him alive, though.I also stormed into Caesar's camp and killed everyone, smashing skulls with 'Oh Baby!' .I didn't do much with Yes Man.I tried to help out the Followers of the Apocalypse at every opportunity, but they didn't get a good ending in my game, because the NCR drove them off (according to the ending montage). So I ultimately sided with the NCR. Cass fought with me in the final battle and died. I was near death (crippled leg, head, torso), despite my power armor. I'm most upset that the game ends at the same time I get that awesome sword (Blade of the East). Wild Card ending-Killed Caesar with Boone after doing his quest, while I wore Ranger Combat Armor. Gave him an upgraded Sniper Rifle with JSP's and I used the All-American with.223 rounds-Drove out the NCR, chose wrong dialogue and let President die-Got the Khans to leave the Mojave-Got the casinos to all ally with me-Helped out the Boomers-Got the BoS to support me-Wiped out the Powder Gangers-Helped out Super Mutants-Killed the Mutants at Black MountainYeah, I helped those whose methods I agreed with, killed those I didn't really like. I don't understand all these posters saying Caesar's Legion is evil. They're not- they are the opposite. They are the only 'good' people in the game. They take the hardass route to get there, sure. But Caesar wants an empire in order to free the country of tyranny and corruption. He does not conquer them just for power, but for an ideal of a unified country/empire. Mr House, Yes Man/you, NCR.So as you can see- I went Legion route first play-through. So glad I did (I just finished game). The ending was brilliant. Caesar is a genius. And Lanius is sweet.NCR- I literally can't stand them. They remind me of modern day democracy which is crap to begin with. (and American govt). Kill them every first chance I get. Kill president, kill ambassador, wipe out their embassy, slaughter Camp Golf/McCarran etc. Hate hate hate hate NCR.Boomers- never realised they were a group, and the obvious bad-guys at the beginning of game. So I killed 'em, and could never be bothered to redeem my rep after that.BoS- idolized with them. (mainly to get power armour training). But set 'em free, they're now back on track collecting technology and helping the continent.Black Mountain- killed Tabetha.Jacobstown- helped Nightkin. Accidentally killed the raiders, which probably f.cked Jacobstown in the future. This play-through I am going the Mr House route. He seems interesting. Played as good as I could, but a game like this makes it tough to be completely benevolent. For most of the game I sided with NCR (saved the President as well), until the end when they ordered me to kill the Brotherhood, then I turned on NCR and sided with Yes Man.Killed Mr. House, though at that point I wasn't yet sure whether I'd side with NCR or Yes Man.I slaughtered the Legion pretty early on, much sooner than I'd have needed to, so they hated me pretty much the whole game.Recruited Cass and kept her around, leaving the 'kill Cass' mission unfinished.Got Rex a brain and kept him around as well.Got the Khans to leave, negotiated peace between the Kings and NCR, helped the Boomers, joined the Brotherhood, helped the Super Mutants in Jacobstown, and got on the good side of most, if not all, of the casinos. Can't really remember any other major decisions. Still trying to decide right now i am working on the NCR story line and helping house. As a result i stealth killed all the great khans. Then went down to the legion's bases and killed every last one of them. The legion was pretty easy, i took them down with a power fist and Mercy. Then i got to Caesar and his band of guards. They required my best to kill them, the alien blaster. After all the killing was done i got the chip and let benny go.since he sent me to kill the brotherhood of steel, my opinion of house has gone down. I am doing his quest line to get the achievement. I figure the NCR will ask something similar from me regarding the BOS but i'm hoping i can talk my way out of that one. Even with a new elder, the BOS is pretty contained. Caesar's LegionMass, indiscriminate slaughter, killed every last one of them, teabagged Caesar's dismembered head and drank a Whiskey on his throne.Haha! I must try this!OT:Caesar - I play as a female, so really there is nothing Caesar's Legion could say to me to make me side with them. They would enslave me, and since being a slave girl isn't my favorite fantasy, I never side with them.NCR - they have their own good and bad. They stifle a lot of growth with their overly strict ways, but they keep order. This is plainly seen in their ending, where some towns flourish, and others don't.Mr. House - I did side with him one playthrough, and I thought it was just going to be bad endings all around, but there is actually a surprisingly sweet side to his ending. ![]() You might give it a go just to see it.Yes Man - My favorite ending, because I get to choose which factions stay, and who goes. I always think to myself, I'll have to get rid of Yes Man eventually, I don't entirely trust him, but I like that he allows you to decide what is best for the wastes, instead of telling you what is best for the wastes. NCR - they have their own good and bad. They stifle a lot of growth with their overly strict ways, but they keep order. This is plainly seen in their ending, where some towns flourish, and others don't.Yeah, why were they such dicks to the followers and Khans? That pissed me off.Mr. House - I did side with him one playthrough, and I thought it was just going to be bad endings all around, but there is actually a surprisingly sweet side to his ending. You might give it a go just to see it.Really?? I must try it now!Yes Man - My favorite ending, because I get to choose which factions stay, and who goes. I keep coming back to my first playthrough. Here's the rundown of what happened:Caesar's Legion: Slavers. I HATE slavers. Not only that, but they didn't let me take my Vodka with me! Shot them up with a riot shotgun.NCR: I like democracy, plus they don't enslave people. Their rangers also give me that boss-looking armour! (Heh heh heh.)Mr. House: I knew something wasn't right with him. Download game komputer gratis. Download now the best shooting game for free! If you like war games or FPS games, you will love Sniper 3D Assassin®: one of the most fun and addicting shooting games ever! I have had the app sniper ED for the past two phones and a tablet it was a really good game I like it. In all honesty, I was exploring and I ended up killing him.BoS: Gave me laser guns. Laser guns give me money. I like money.Fiends: Made some money off them with all the drugs I was carrying and then cleaned them out.Gun Runners: LURVE THEM. THEY GAVE ME MY PRECIOUS ANTI-MATERIEL RIFLE! Yeah, why were they such dicks to the followers and Khans? That pissed me off.Yeah, and unless you play the Brotherhood just right, they don't give you the choice to leave them alive either. Those brotherhood blokes were my buds. I didn't want to off them. Not after I spent so much time fixing their issues, and helping Veronica. Also, I didn't get to see the awesome Boomer help when I went with the NCR, that may have been a glitch, but when I finally did see the epic thing the Boomers do, I was so excited. That was awesome.Really?? I must try it now!You should! If you have a save at the end, it's pretty quick to see what he will do. I was curious. Unfortunately, I am not curious enough to overcome my revulsion of the Legion. I will never get those cheevos.cries.I felt there was something sinister going on with him, but was glad to see in the endings that no, he had the Strip's best interests at heart as long as you did.Which made me wonder why they bothered throwing in that 'I'm becoming more assertive' twist in the final dialogue.I know! Bozar Fallout New VegasI totally heard that and was like, 'Uh oh. What did I just do?' I suppose they could be saying, once you are gone, he might continue to rule Vegas. But maybe our good influence will keep him on the right path.;). The Bozar is the ultimate refinement of the sniper's art, an automatic sniper rifle with an ammunition capacity of 30x.223 or 5.56mm round. It possesses great precision and phenomenal firepower that can easily pierce the strongest of defenses. Even though it's somewhat finicky and prone to jamming if not kept scrupulously clean, its many qualities more than make up for its extra maintenance requirements. The Bozar is one of the strongest Guns skill weapons in the game, a powerful automatic 5.56mm Light machine gun with an ammo capacity of 30. It has a lower damage per shot than a regular light machine gun but has a lower spread. However, its high rate of fire, good precision, common ammunition, rather low AP cost, remarkably fast reload speed and high dps make it one of the most valuable weapons to a character skilled in Guns.It can be sold by Gun Runners, or bought from Vendortron for 20,000-30,000 caps.
